Looking for a honda specialist to carry out a 72k service plus valve clearances on my CTR (ep3).
Located as near to fife as possible.

I would take it to honda but they would just rip me off.

Recomendations required.

It includes, if needed, a timing chain kit as well hence why id rather a non honda garage done it because they would say it needs one either way.
Never heard of a valve clearance until i started searching whats required for the 72k.

Fuk that, the money it will cost for that service will be more than what you would lose not having the service done.Give it an oil and filter change.

The Valve Clearances need to be checked on Vtec motors due to the risk of valve float with them revving so high iirc. I'd go to Gerry at Performancetek. Seems to have a good rep!

I spoke to falkland performance about it and they seemed to know what they were talking about, but decided to just change the oil grade, ran it for a while longer and traded it in for another ep3.

Travelling back and fourth to edinburgh every day can make you paranoid
