I am on holiday and my car is getting some paint work and the painter has asked If I would like my wiper smoothed ... What do you's think ? Yes or no ?

Am sure it used to have it done before it got the new tailgate . Will try find pics just wasn't sure how it looks .

Yes.

Looks alot cleaner without the wiper.Although the rear screen wont be.lol.

Yeah. I think they look better without the wiper but with the lock, rather than a semi smooth boot.

Am keepin the lock as its gettin painted gunmetal like the rest of the plastics so should look good

I had mine grommited and i think it looked really good and my bootlock was anthracite. Wont be much different if it was smoothed over, just wipe your window with a cloth now and again or just keep the car clean. Coming into summer it shouldnt be that bad mate.

the wiper on my mk3 astra gsi was smoothed and i never missed it. as long as you keep your car clean then its not much of a problem.
