i've been looking at getting another car for about a year now (feel like a pikey version of colin).
i really like seat leon cupra r's, renault clio 182's and fiesta st's.
i feel like i should just get the st because it's newer, cheaper to maintain, cheapest on insurance and imo looks nice.
only thing is i wanted a 5 door but i also want something fun that i can take out once a week and enjoy. during the week it will just be driven to work and back.
but i really cannot decide what colour i prefer, white or blue.
i've had the white before so i know i like it, but i also think that blue is a really nice colour.

I like the blue. Lowered with the wheels painted anthracite

Stripes are a must!
Mate has a blue one as posted, tis a lovely motor. Apart from thieves keep taking parts off it. Had a sideskirt and 4 centre caps stolen.
If I where to get one it would be red. Much more refined on a Mway journey than a Clio. Seats re lovely too

i do, but i like the fact if anything goes wrong on the fiesta i can get it fixed cheap whereas the leon would probably cost more, being a VAG motor.
and you can get the st185 kit for the fiesta which gives it a 0-60 of 6.9 which is plenty for me.

i've done the 'naked' look on my old fiesta and although i loved it, i think i prefer some anthracite stripes and anthracite wheels on my next one, be it blue or white.

Only problems with them is as mentioned the parts are so easy to steal. It's becoming a big problem on them and most people on STOC seem to be selling up over it! Not that fast a car but a nice chuckable little car as you will know from your Zetec S. I say go for it, a nice little compromise between a fast car & one that doesn't cost the earth to run.
And it's gotta be white, or red.

White, I find that blue colour looks quite aggy after a few years, can get rough around the edges.
If it was me I'd get a silver one

silver is nice but it never has that ''wow factor'' for me when clean.
i've heard of the bumpers/skirts/spoilers getting nicked and i'd hope it wouldn't happen to me.
there are 2 fiesta st's at the top of my road which seem alright so hopefully any thieves would steal theirs before mine

In all seriousnessness, I test drove the ST when it first came out and was extremely disappointed. I preferred the diesel Zetec-S
Performance Blue is a horrid colour.
Only Ford colour I like is Imperial/Racing Blue.
White with stripes and some sort of performance upgrades

as long as it's a faster version of my puma i'd be happy tbh. i enjoy chucking a small-ish car about and i know the mk6 fiestas handle well having had one previously so i guess it should be fine.
i know what you mean though, 8 seconds to 60 standard does seem a bit pants when compared to it's competition.

Handling wasn't as good as the puma/mk5 zetec-s setup, imo, but not far off.

my mate had one in the same colour combo in 2007, was alright but as said, i'm just not keen on silver on any car really.
