My sport is poorly

Keeps missfiring when idling, ok when reving though, however when revs are increased into the powerband it smokes like fuck. But only when your in the powerband. Theres no smoke there when idling.

Tried a different ICV, TPS, New spark plugs, New HT Leads and removed my powerbox (Cleaned it all up and sealed properly)

Any ideas lads?

Read the ECU and i'm getting the following codes:

-1405 < EGR VALVE (Not bothered about)
-0400 < EGR VALVE (Not bothered about)
-0230 < FUEL PUMP
-0105 < MAP SENSOR
-0500 < ICV

I know ICV has shown up, but it looks to be new. I have another one here that I'm going to try tomorrow.

Anyone have any ideas with the codes I've put up?

you say your not bothered about the egr valve fault, but that could be the cause of your misfire, it was on mine anyway, it was flooding the cylinders with already burnt fuel so it couldnt fire

ok fair enough just thought it was actually faulty

i'm lost then, my best guess for the missfire would be the map sensor but i could be wrong,

if you've only just replaced the icv and it's still throwing up the code, get them cleared first as that might just be stored in memory and will narrow down what you need to swap

Check the vacuum hose on the map sensor is on properly and isnt split, then if that dont solve it, swap it for another.
