I need a netbook for doing bit of work, email, site updating etc on the go, my Dell laptop is just too big to lug around, plus the fucker's falling apart. Would also like to use it to watch films etc so could do with a reasonable graphics card and needs to have bluetooth connectivity.
Any recommendations?

Ta. Budget is open really but ideally sub £350ish. Ideally something 10" but have seen the specs are more laptop like on the 12" ones.

Don't fancy being limited by Apple really, would rather stick with Windows so everything I have is compatible. Also hate touchscreen keyboards, takes me twice as long to type a few fecking words

I just got an Acer Aspire One 533 for £220 and it's great. But for your budget there must be some great ones out there! I know there's a new dual core version of mine out this month for £299.

If it's going to be a daily use machine I wouldn't be looking at the Atom processor.
I'm currently using an Alienware M11x... fucking fantastic bit of kit!

How come? Mine nips along no problems whatsoever. It'll only get bogged down when a few programs are opened at once. Not that I was expecting Desktop PC high performance anyway, it being a netbook and all.

Okay, we have 120 of them at work and they cause NOTHING but problems. Then, when you try to fix them, they fall apart at the seams. White screen issue (new £46 cable), speakers buzzing (completely stripdown, cover all speaker wires in tape), touchpad connectors working their way loose, keyboard which just decide to die at any working time, the %age of batteries that just stop working for no reason what so ever.
Discusting machines.

Ok so i'm looking at an Acer one 753 at the moment, can't seem to beat the spec, only thing against it is the processor being a 1.2. Any thoughts on this one? Costco are doing it for £330ish inc vat, so it's not a bad price either.
