My limit is £100, it doesnt need to do anything fancy, just play MP3's on a CD or USB or Ipod.. What it must do is look good in situ.
It has to output a fair bit of volume tho to hide the knockings and bangs of the car, also without a roof it needs to be quite beefy to hear anything.
I have decent speakers just need a headunit.

quote: For Sale is my JVC headunit with touchscreen, mp3 compatible, iPod and DVD with a monitor.
As new, not a scratch or mark on it
The man I bought the car off had just had it fitted but I took it out about a month after I bought it to strip down the interior of the car. While it was used I always put the front in its padded case so it stayed perfect. I have the manual for it, some brackets and bits and bobs that were never used and receipt showing he paid over £300 pounds for it.
Looks like this:
(If you're interested I'll send you photos of the unit)
Here's all the details:
"The motion sensor and touch pad offer a new style of operation with your finger strokes on the 3.5-inch wide monitor. You can play both audio and video from your iPod or USB devices.
The 3.5" video screen lets you enjoy your favorite videos and DVDs and presents a user-friendly set of menus and options for your use when you're driving. You won't find any buttons or knobs to the left of the screen as touchscreen technology lets you make all adjustments with just a touch of your finger. The controls black out and disappear when you're not using them, then light up automatically when your hand approaches the screen.
For convenient theft protection, the unit presents a simple black panel when it's turned off. You can also detach the face for extra protection when you're out of the car.
The unit also features 5.1-channel DTS/Dolby decoders, 7-band iEQ, and Dual Zone function.
Features:
Built-in 3.5-Inch Wide Monitor
AAC/WAV/MP3/WMA Compatible (DVD/CD/USB)
DivX/JPEG/MPEG1,2 Compatible (DVD/CD/USB)
iPod Video Playback
iPod Audio Playback (USB/J-BUS)
7-Band iEQ
Headphone Surround
5V Line/Subwoofer Output Level
Gold-Plated Output Terminals (Line x 2 pairs/Subwoofer/Centre Channel/ Second Audio/Composite Video)
Gold-Plated AV Input Terminals
TFT ON/OFF
Multilingual Display (English/Spanish/French/German/Italian/ Dutch/Swedish/Danish/ Russian)
Dual Zone Function
CD Changer Ready
High-Pass Filter (ON/Through)
Detachable Control Panel
Steering Remote Control Ready
Rear View Camera Ready
DAB Ready"
I've looked and similar units are well over £250. This is an In New Condition unit, I would like £175 +P&P
That appeared tonight on one of the RX forums, if you're interested. Over your £100 but looks a nice bit of kit.

That Sony one you linked looks a right bargain, some review says you can charge and play music through an iPhone at the same time as well (if that interests you).
I've had a Sony headunit for 2 and a half years, the guy who had it before me had it for a year or so as well, still going strong after dropping the fascia plenty of times.
