arent different coilovers different? i had to contact the manufacturer of mine and ask

Hmm possibly.
They have 2 seperate springs with a ring in the middle and 2 locking rings at the bottom.
At the moment the locking rings are about 1cm from the bottom of the threads.The car they came off was pretty slammed and the havn't been adjusted since.
I would have thought screwing the rings up the shock would make it lower seeing as it will be compressing the springs and making them shorter.

I have 1 C spanner.
1 will be fine seeing as you can only really adjust 1 ring at a time.Slacken the locking ring,then adjust the other ring.

screw it so it goes up the shock, it won't only compress the spring it will push the piston rod up and the shock body down
