Seeing as the pow household now have 7 cars between 3 of us, I decided a thread for all of them would go better than one per car
So, first up, my cars:
The Alfa
[img]http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/8891/IMG_20110306_175717.jpg[img]
Doesn't really have anything done to it, I own the car outright, it has my POW private plate on it and I don't really plan on doing anything to it. It's a lovely daily drive that sips the diesel and costs me nothing to run but a yearly service.
The Mazda
The bit-of-fun car for me Just plan on playing with it and learning some stuff, enjoying some top down motoring on the way! Plan for this one is fairly simple, wheels, coilovers, make it a little noisier, enjoy. It's currently broken though, needs an alternator... grrr!
I've still got the Corsa, which went from:
to
...but it worked out I'd get more money selling the parts separately so I've stripped it, refunded the tax and made my money back as the MX5 replaced it! Should be going for scrap next week
Onto the other wagons in the house, we have the SLK:
Beautiful bit of kit for the money we paid for it... I love driving it with the roof down . Few little plans include getting some bodywork touched up, a good clean, a bluetooth handsfree kit and a damn good service!
Dad has his Capri which I am determined to get running and MOT'd again for him this year:
18k on it, needs a good service (everything doing), some tunes sorted out and some other little bits and peices, then perhaps we can get it MOTd for the first time in forever!
We also have the KA which is partly my sisters, partly my Mum's - no pictures and the general family abuse wagon - THE PRIUS .
Anyway, tonight I'm going to try and force the alternator off the MX5. Beautiful!

LOOK AT THAT BEAUTIFUL COMFY SLEEPING MACHINE. It's clean as well... it has go fast salt streaks on it at the moment.
MX5 time!
Boot popper fitted:
Detango'd lights:
Fitted some headrest speakers - ran the wires down the centre console and up to the radio:
And fixed this:
No pictures of that but I tell you now access to an alternator on an MX5 is tight at the best of times!

Just to add - been using it for work as I'm commuting a short distance for a few days due to staying local... headrest speakers are pretty cool. Cost me £20 as well... not the stupid amount that the MX5tax seems to bring!

Did you not already had wires running up the head rest for your speakers ?
Also where did you get them from ?

Nah no wiring for the headrests as mine was a UK car, wiring them in was pretty simples!
I got them from here:

They're really good!
