How do you use photoshop to change the colour of a car and when ur painting can u paint in a straight line.

to change the colour use the polygon select tool highlight the bits u wanna change colour, use alt and shift to add and remove bits from ur selection then do copy merged and paste to create a new layer then select that layer and do adjust, hue saturation, the click colourise and move the sliders to ur desired colour
