I'll have a pint after work occassionally and drive home a little later.

Very rare, and we usually sit in the pub for a couple of hours drinking slowly anyway.

i used to do it alot on my scooter aged 17 .. never got pulled or caught .. wouldnt do it now though

I'll usually drink about 4 pints, a few shots and a slippery nipple cocktail. Then drift all the way home, going sideways means the coppers can't see my reg.

I drank a smirnoff ice when I was 17 and drove about an hour later and got stopped and breathalised. All clear but I haven't drunk anything and driven since. I don't see the point in just having one drink.
I just drink to get pissed.

i have nothing, once had 2 pints in the pub, walked home, had 2 bottles at home, mate rang and said his car had been broken into where he'd parked it for sale, reported it, i said id drive it to my garage, stopped as it was reported stolen by mistake, breathalised, got amber warn, never done it again, never will

A few years ago I had a scary realisation.
I drove to my mates. Had a few litres of strongbow, some beers and a few vodkas and Jaegarbombs. The next thing I know i've woken up in my own bed. No idea how I got there.
I look outside and the car is parked on the drive...

I'd obviously blacked out and gone into auto pilot and driven home. Thankfully "auto pilot" guided me home safely and soundly and even parked well

Needless to say I don't take the car with me at all now if I intend on drinking.

Drink driving is a complete loosers game imo, it starts off with 1 pint and you feel fine then its another and so on till you wipe someone out.

Mav that used to come on here nearly had his whole family wiped out because of a drink driver.

having a drink is to get you drunk if not then whats the point.
