hi people got a corsa sport 1.4 16v 1996 drove it about one week ago and after a while it was goign up and down between 1-2 thousand revs now it has which i suspect is headgasket failure or it was on it way out i.e white cremey shit in oil and smokey its all stripped down now for a new headgasket and cambelt but just wondered if anyone had any ideas on it cheers

Revs up and down could have just been idle control valve, and if the corsa had been standing for a bit the white creamy shit may have just been condensation water mixing with oil when stood

yeah once i restarted it in the morning it was fine also has a faulty egr valve
