It doesn't say what the engine size is but he should just do what me and my friends did when we started driving and drive 1.0 and 1.1's for a couple of years first

Nah, I nicked that off another site last year.
IIRC it was for a Mondeo ST2400 for a 25 yr old with a few years no claims

Discrimination in what the AA Spokesman is saying then?
I didn't even get quoted that much to see how much insurance was on a Impreza. :lol;

Not that amazing tbh to make the papers. It's being going on for years. I think legally they have to offer a quote but they inflate it so high you never take it up. I'd love to call them up and say yeah ok 'DD or cheque' and watch them panic lolz
"Sometimes insurance companies would prefer not to have that business and rather than not quote they quote figures they do not expect to be taken up," said the spokesman.

Must be a slow news day. Tbf it's a fairly late Corsa C that cost 3 grand. I don't know anyone who spent that much on their first car This is why you trundle around in a skip for a couple of years first

I spent about 3k on my first car.
Insurance is crazy for young drivers, thought it was bad enough when I started driving.

I've seen Evos, Scoobs, Toyota GT coupes, MK 2 Escorts all with 'R' plates over here. Probably more but thats all that spring to mind as they catch your eye, some people are way to lucky!
