Going to get the wheels refurbed on the Lexus as they have had a crap job done on them. They have painted over kerbing without trying to remove them, They are flaking and full of runs!

Can't decide weather to stick with them the colour they are now, Or go back to the standard silver colour.

Heres a pic of it with the colour they are now, an anthricite grey.

Its going in for a few other bits to be done, So might as well get the wheels done on it at the same time.

Been thinking of silver since I got it, Don't think it suits it very well. Got a new set of centre caps that are silver.

Think it's one of them cars and colours that don't suit dark coloured wheels. Can remember seeing a red one around here that they looked nice on!

I'm not too sure. The sapre is silver, and the wheels have had a refurb in the past which is a shoddy job, In places it is peeling and the standard silver is showing through.

I have seen a few with them this colour wheel on, Think it may have been an option or others had the same idea.

Heres a pic of one I found on Piston heads.

From what I remember certain models came with anthra wheels, some with silver faces and anthra inners and the others just silver.

Your wheels look quite small in that colour though - especially against the dark paint (imo)

they are standard colour if its sports spec

Lexus wheels are known for corrosion and if they had not have been refurbed lexus would have swapped them for free

My father had an IS300 and he had them replaced loads of times. lexus know the fault but stated it would cost more to change the process in the factory so decided just to replace them

There is signs of corrosion coming through on these, they have just been painted over.

Sadily whoever had it before me thought it would be a good idea to paint them. Doubt i would be able to blag my way around that at a dealers!

Was looking at the spare today and it is silver, So was going to go along with this.

The car is the sports spec, But the wheels are flaking in places revealing the original colour which is silver.
