Been trying to sell the Clio for about 4 weeks now, dropped the price from £2100 to £1700, tryed it on eBay etc.
Got my finger out and stuck the new pas pump on yesterday to try and help the sale, re posted it on gumtree tonight.
Price : £1700, someone text me asking if i'd consider £1000.
 What the fuck posses some people.

mite sound like a bit of a gamble, but every time iv sold a car through ebay iv put in on for ether 7days or 10days but I've always started them at 99p with no reserve and no buy it now, at first you get people asking you to take there banger and £100, next thing you know you've got 80 watchers or more and its not too far off what you want with a while left. get more people interested early.
but state, stupid offers will not get a response, and car is advertised locally so may remove at any time, dont say how much, and keep your description brief
worked for me anyhow

I'd consider a cheaper car & cash.
But in an ideal world i'd like cash moneys as i'm saving with the intention of buying a MK4 Astra GSI for my birthday.

i just managed to flog a astra, w reg, 10 billioln thousand miles on the clock, 1 or 2 month tax and test, head gasket gone, needs exhaust and poor repair in quarter panel for over £600
start it for 99p on ebay, loads of people get interested and it rockets up and up.
just say silly offers will be ignored in the auction

when im car spotting i dont even look at them when they have a reserve
also have you tried ad trader. put one on there a while back and it sold the next day for a fair price
