I have aviators, I use them when I'm aviating. Though they're pretty heavy and I find them uncomfortable, so I think I'll be moving over to Wayfarers or some Oakleys this year

Oakleys are technically superior. But then aviators where designed for fighter pilots in the 40's so as you can imagine the tech has moved on.

Wayfarers weigh about 3 tonnes

The lenses on my Ray Bans are pretty crap too actually - in bright sunlight they don't perform too well. I think they look cool though

My ray bans are polarised, and I'll get the wayfarers with polarised lenses too. So much better in direct sunlight
