I'm getting a new workstation and monitor at work. Been told I'm allowed up to £150 inc. VAT for a monitor.
I'd like a widescreen and I guess 21"+ would be good too. Any suggestions? There seems to be a hell of a lot out there to choose from. Guess I am just after the best I can get in size and resolution for the money really

Best Dell with warranty for the budget.
Dell monitors are normally better value outside of Dell direct.

I've got a 21" Dell widescreen for CAD, lovely monitor, really nice to work on. No idea on cost or model number though.

£150 inc VAT? Generous aren't they.
See if you can get hold of a Dell UltraSharp one... I've got a U2410 on my desk and it's a cracking bit of kit

Ultrasharp is well out of the budget. Only seems to be one Dell that is cheap enough. And after looking around the Iiyama monitors seem better a spec. Total newbie to this
