I've got a 97 1.4 16v sport. I find that on light throttle it jerks abit. Its intermittent. It normally does it between 1500-2000 rpm. Anyone have any ideas? Any info much appreciated.

check the pipes leading to the throttle body/manifold...i had a hair line split in the pipe leading to the map senosr and yesterday found one in the pipe leading from the T/body to the fuel pressure regulator..

both changed and car runs smoothly.

hope this helps

also check the pipes leading to the rocket cover (from the throttle)...these get clogged up with crap (build up of condesation - i think) from loads of short journeys.
worth a look and clean out anyway cos mine pipes were totally blogged up with it which caused the car to cut out and drive jerky.
