No he wont, it is a Champions League game on Wednesday.

He should definitely appeal imo, players swear all the time in footie matches.

So swearing carries the same penalty as 10 yellow cards.

Fucking useless twats the FA. They are trying to make up for not doing anything about the elbow incident. Hope he appeals it, banned for swearing? Fucking hell, it had nothing to do with the game like a foul or him trying to wind the crowd up anything like that.

Wait a sec....Rooney swore directly into a camera on live TV! Deserves punishment imo.

The guy doesn't know how to behave properly.

He's a council estate chav through and through.

VERY talented definatley, but has no class at all.

Should be banned for life. Swearing at football is a crime.

Why should he banned from playing? He didn't go and shout at a referee, he didn't assault anyone, he didn't commit a foul or anything like that related to the actual game of football that was going on. He swore at a TV camera.

If the game wasn't on TV it wouldnt have been aired. Too many camera's and mic's at games now. You can hear the crowd swear all the time if you listen carefully enough.

So much drama over nothing much.

Role model etc etc. If one of the commentators swore they'd get fucked over. If a manager swore he'd get fucked over. Same applies to Rooney.

But you have to listen pretty carefully to hear swearing from crowd. Rooney was directly into camera.

Jack Wilshere spat in a persons face, much worse than Wayne Rooney swearing tbh.
