Jewell plays him on the left wing because since Walters left he is the only person capable of jumping to recieve the ball.
The goals he has scored which I think amount to about 9 now (injured at the start of the season) have all been good goals there is no denying that.
And in the first leg against Arsenal he was awesome, second leg average but we couldn't get out of our half but that's pretty much the same for any team that goes to the Emirates.

Easily, much stronger and a bit faster. A lot more skillful than Rooney, maybe not quite as good finisher though.

He is one of a long list of big physical young guys that have battered their way through the youth systems of lower league clubs to break through at an early age and will be shown up for the player he is at senior level.
No one will even remember his name when Rooney is coming to the end of his career.
