Believing in alien life at all is one thing.
Believing they've already secretly been here and abduct hillbilly drunks as a basis to study the whole human race is another.

This. I think to think we're the only ones around is just idiotic.

Really? I didn't know they retracted it. What did they give as an explaination to what they found then?

They explained it off by saying the experiment was contaminated by cleaning fluids.
NASA are full of shit and are known as: Never A Straight Answer

i think its crazy aswel that going from what another person in that conference, said about what they have learned about these 'UFO'S' is the 'zero point energy'. in that they have found a proven way that energy can be used and not permit any co2 emissions. but they will not release how because there is so much money in the oil industry, shows how greedy we are rather than sort the plantet out.

I concur.
"out there" contains hundreds of billions of galaxies each with hundreds of billions of star. There will be intelligent life out there, but if we're right and you can't travel faster than the speed of light it'll take 26 years to reach the nearest star (iirc) which we're pretty sure doesn't have the ability to have intelligent life. Let alone the nearest which we believe could be capable of supporting what we consider complex lifeforms

But as I said, IF even they can't travel faster than the speed of light, which by OUR laws of Physics is impossible, then even they would still take ages to get here.
However if we're wrong on the laws of physics, which is highly likely and aliens have developed worm holes etc... then yes, it would be nice if they could share
Makes me wonder how we look back at the ancients and think "what bellends thinking the world was flat" etc... how are people gonna look back at us in 1000 years?
