Hi, guys havent tried working on ma bicycle for ages and forgetten how to tweat the gears. Some reason ma new bike wont stay in the fatest gear (Smallest gear), it keeps moving itself to the one jus above it. Now what do i tweak to stop it changing gear automatically cos i jus smashed my knee cap on the god damm bike cos of this problem.
Neway can some refresh my mind on fixing this plz

Do you mean on the front or rear mech?

sometimes happens when the chain is a little too long.

tiny screws on the derilier (sp) that act as a stop - needs winding out so it will move down further

nah, used to do a bit of dirt jumpin, bout it! Only got it 'cos my old one got nicked, and insurance would only give me a cheque for a bike place to get another! So got this custom built. Had given up by the time I got it, so hardly used it!

Been trying to sell it for about 6 months! Cost me nearly 2k and only asking £650!

Ummm where abouts can i find this tiny screw. Completely forgotten. Didnt ride a bike for a good 4 years ever since i passed my driving test lol, btw its the rear mechanism.

i dont like moutain bikes anymore. cos i snapped my 1100 pound bike! thn i started riding BMX and its class!! (lernt hop 360's tonight)
