Currently going through the buying process for this flat:
http://www.foundationsofwoking.com/eDetails.asp?Category=Residential&ID=FOWOKLC30O716
Offer has been accepted, mortgage has been finalised and my solicitor is currently doing the searches etc.
Pictures are a bit crap, they make the rooms look a lot smaller than they are. There is no floorplan as my offer was accepted before it went on the market. You will be seeing a lot more of me in house day

Tell me about it, in the immediate area that I bought in 2 bed flats range from about £180k to about £300k. This one is actually quite good value for what it is as the rooms are massive and it's just had a new kitchen and 2 new bathrooms, plus it's got underground parking.
It's within a 5 minute walk of a station where I can get a train into London in 25 minutes. This alone adds about £25k to the price.

I love how people have caught on to this. You dont live in london because its bloody expensive, so you live outside of london and catch the train and they still put a premium on for this

Yeh but I don't want to live in London. All my friends and family are around here.
Plus the premium to live close to a train station is much less than the premium to actually live in London. A place like mine in a decent area in central London would be over £500k easily.

true gary, but theres no point buying that house if you don't have a job that pays well enough to pay the mortgage.

Guess you southerners do get paid more. But when flats are 250k down there you need to!
