Does Anybody No What This Could Be ?
I Have A 1.2 16V Corsa B
It Starts At 4000rpm And Sounds A Bit Like A Turbo
Also The Water Pump Has Gone As Well And Thinking If It Has Out To Do With That ?

could be somthing stupid like a blow in the exhaust or somthing like that

Probs the waterpump or cambelt tensioner, get full cambelt kit and waterpump changed and it should stop the noise

I always thought it was the z12xe engine that was chain driven. Not the x12xe ah well, hopefully it will sort it out f ya

All of them engines are chain, and I would say the whining your hearing is just the fact its a small engine they make a noise like that
