You would only be able to run low pressure only with those style of kits so wtf are they giving you a t34 style turbo for

Aye you would and the std xe management wouldnt be up to the job, you would need injectorss also. You would probably need to use the let top hat also

For the price it would have cost the the hassle of fitting that shity kit yes you would, you can get a let for around the price if your lucky
Also the turbo on that wont be a genuine garrat t34 it will be some chinky hair dryer that will let go as soon as it sees 14 psi
If you bought that kit in the long run you would just have to use let management, pistons and rods plus the hassle of take the engine apart to fit it all, and thats the cheap version of the long run

There been a few topics on different forums about folk who had an xe in there car and wanted to upgrade to a let
The only way it would have been advisable was if you where totaly buying upgraded stuff, Ie rods/pistons, management, turbo and manifold ect
But if it was just converting to the same sort of tune as a 300hp let then it would he worked out to be more expensive and much more hassle where as if you buy a let and already have the xe then you can swap both engines in a night

if i can source a good let then i will do that, if not then could look at getting a turbo kit and get the engine built to a better spec to handle it
