Thought i'd start a progress thread now i've started to do small touches to the corsa.
this is my 1st C iv had 7 b's, astra and a vectra. I still have a arden blue B with a 2.0 redtop inbut im breaking that :heelclick:
Anyways onto the C
Bought it last thursday,84k miles,12 month test 6 month tax £1200
has a dent on the top right rear quarter which should just pop out and it never had sxi wheels.
sorry for the poor pics
gave it a wash and polish
then got hold of some very clean speedline alessios for a decent price so tried them on
iwas gunna take them off until i ordered new shocks and springs but was sick of the steelies and put them on
old centre badges
new ones
thats pretty much it apart from fitting a ipod/bluetooth headunit
im not doing much apart from bonnet resprayed, FK shocks and 100mm lowering springs all round, sportex racetube and 3'' outward rolled tip and alloys powder coated silver with 195/40 tyres.
I'll also be opeling it so will start gathering more badges etc

had a few parcels arrive today. will fit them once i have time and as soon as my custom springs arrive it will be slammed!!
im going to order a custom engine cover,l.e.d numberplate bulbs,pressed plates and a few more opel goodies

havnt really updated the thread but iv since fitted the fk shocks and springs and fitted my facelift headlights which i got for free  other small things such as flat wipers,sun strip, led numberplate bulbs found their way onto the car. pics :
springs arrived:

in with the new:
front just off the jack:
rear just off the jack:
facelift headlights:
I then went for a drive to try and let the springs settle and decided to take a few pics, iphone 4 camera fail !
and a few pictures iv just took of it there, think the springs have settled now, would like the front a bit more down but im happy now. scrapes like fook parking it at home
im supposed to be swapping the alloys next week for some irmscher softstars then all i want to do after that is a exhaust and the car will be finished and be for sale in january due to my Girlfriend becoming pregnant.

Well it's certainly low
Any reason you thought about 195/45 tyres btw? 195/45 is the proper size and will be cheaper/easier to get hold of.
What engine is it?

i should really try to keep on track of this but anyways........
with pvs coming up i thought id throw a small fortune at the car and try clean it up a bit. then everything broke :/
ripped half of my splitter off
smashed my down pipe
side light went out
oil leak
so i bought a brand new exhaust system and fitted my 3'' outward rolled tip backbox. l.e.d sidelights with h.i.d's.
pvs to do list
fit l.e.d side lights
fit 8k hid's
smoke my facelift headlights
get bonnet resprayed (booked in wed)
swap alloys for softstars and fit them
fit my sri lower grille
fit wind deflectors(awaiting delivery)
buy LCR splitter
im also ordering some tailored car mats and giving it a service.
plenty still to do before pvs but heres a few pics of it.

with the speedlines having no tyres on ready to be swapped i had to borrow these.... mega scrubbing:

still having abit bad luck. the sxi's i temp bought to get me around whilst me and sri boy swapped wheels, i hit a pothole and burst the tyre so i need to replace that.
its going into the body shop on saturday for the bonnet resprayed. should hopefully have the softstars on next week

cheers bud its ok until you hit any bump at all then you literally lift out of your seat
they will more than likely get took out around christmas due to me becoming a father around that time so it will deffo need heightened and possibly the exhaust took off

Collected my Sri lower grille from vaux today. Managed to get it fitted along with my 8k hid kit and the led sidelights. Will get pics up tonight.
The car is being dropped off tomorrow for the bonnet reaprayed and fingers crossed i should have the softstars
