relevant computer spec::
cd-rom/dvd drive (default)
cd-rw drive
windows xp pro

earlier i bought pure drum n bass and i played it on my computer fine, no probs thru the cdrom/dvd (default) drive.
then later i tried to play the second cd of the two in the drive and it didnt autorun, i thought this was strange so i went to my computer and clicked on the drive it prompted "Please Enter A Disc" or summit like that, i then checked the other cd - same happened, i then put in a DVD, the dvd worked, i then put in a game, this didnt work - the drive thought there was no disc again. i tested all these discs in the cd-rw drive and they work
Do DVD/CD-ROM drives have 2 separate lasers? cos im thinkin (as it plays DVD's fine) that there is a hair or a bit of dirt/shit/dust on the cdrom laser so it fucks out basically.
i didnt change any settings or anything! so it has no fucking reason for doin this
i also did a virus check and this was clean with latest updates
any help is good!

You need to remove the filter and the plugs, should run fine after that.
