Roughly.....percentage wise to your net income??

Not looking for figures, just thought it would make some interesting debate

Forget depreciation, just consider what vanishes from your back pocket.....

I go through phases - some months literally just money on fuel and any other necessary costs (tax, insurance, MOT, service etc) and other months too much when I go on a tinkering spree!

This years been cheap, probably only 20%.

Last year doesn't bare thinking about, I stopped counting receipts for the Mini with a full envelope left to go and was already in territory

Ah I dont know really...I still like it, sticks a smile on whenever I drive it. It benefits from not costing a whole load to run : has warranty, cheapish tax (compared to some!) no mot, no bits needing attention as its still pretty new.

But then keep looking around & seeing things. Plus I wouldnt stand to have lost a lot on the RS.

Could get more power but its a wee bit skittish with 300bhp & not too usable in the wet on load.

Dunno what to do tbh

Tempting proposition but I hate public transport!!

Actually I dont even need a car, dont commute by car so could go without one without too much strife!!

Few taxi's a week when going out, get Tesco to deliver the shopping & bike/walk everywhere else, would be minted!!

I go through months where nothing goes on it bar the fuel and insurance, and other months my whole wages go on it.
