If you have a qualification i na trade they are short of, you should be able to find work, if you have a GCSE in Art, it may be harder.

Otherwise you can just get a 6month visa and get a random job doing whatever and take it from there. That's what my mrs brother is doing at the minute. He just went over with minimal savings, stayed in a hostel, then got a job doing removals.

Theres a bunch of websites out there to work out the points system. You have to the right age, right stage of your career etc. to be accepted. Even better if you've already found an employer.

Cousin is in New Zealand as a quantity surveyor, he's qualified and got the job first so it was easy to get in, he can't however leave that job and get a job lower down the ladder, has to be at least as high a level to stay in the country.

His GF is having a harder time of it though trying to get a nursing job.

If you are already established within an industry and are good at what you do, try and find a company out there that will sponsor you. There aren't that many but there are some.

i will have to have a look. im an mechanical engineer with a few £££££ saved up to get a house.

just trying to find the right job is hard as some pay mint wages but are in the middle of a bloody nowhere

Stay looking on the eastern seaboard. All engineer jobs on the west coast will be at fuck off big mines in the middle of bumfuck idaho.

Yep pretty much 7 days a week 9 hours a day. He's then moving onto Thailand again once he has some money
