i recently disconnected my amp and moved it....since then when i put the power cable back in the fuse blows....

I have disconnected the battery and changed the fuse but still blows as soon as i reconnect the battery....

any reasons why it blows stragiht away...

I know he haw about electrics but sounds like too much of a surge

Its not drawing too much (I guess what your kinda getting at by saying surge).

The wire somewhere is most likely touching the bare bodywork and shorting out.
