Rough conversion.
Messy wiring.
Fuel pumps/cooling fans wired to switches
Engines that tap. (Majority tap from cold then get quiet when there warm)

I would take a friend along with you to any viewings if you haven't got much experience.

Archie, what's the problem with the fan being wired to a switch? My XE had an over-ride switch for traffic situations.

Price usually reflects a decent conversion.

Maybe post a link up in here for people to see and advise you from theyr.

1 thing i would say is make sure it has a proper exhaust and that it isn't bodged to the standard system.Needs at least a 2" bore or the engine will be strangled and holding back.

Rebuilt engine isnt always good lol, Most lie about it anyway, Plus theres the chance of it not being built correctly, shit parts used etc.

Fan on a switch is normally due to people not being able to make the fan work so giving up too easy.

Where abouts are you from?
