I know there are millions of threads about this.

But seriously, WHAT THE FUCK?!

Trying to sell dad's bike. Put a reserve of £900, thought nothing of it, then bam, Total Insertion Fee £29!!!.

Then I check the Final Value Fees and they want 10% up to a maximum of £40.

That is fucking ludicrous! I remember selling a bike on there about 4 years ago and it cost £20 all in.

Thought could only sell cars as Classified. I couldn't see the option for this.

I just think eBay are taking the piss. Yes it probably discourages scammers but that is extortionate considering how many people use the site.

The fees are really not that bad. You have the opportunity to sell your item to millions of buyers. You cant get it anywhere else (although gum tree is really starting to take off) for that money

Yeah fucking paypal have already taken their cut... I sold the phone for £300 + £7.75 postage, Paypal account balance was £297 something, ebay will want their £30 soon plus the listing fee
