Scratched, back chipped, hard to lock (have to squeeze case together) won't go on silent mode. Works fine other than that, would be a great phone to be mugged with if you have insurance.

yeah i guess, apple will swap it for a brand new one for 130.

so need to weigh up, price in current condition vs new phone minus 130 quid.

but mazuma take loads of if damaged and wont return phone if your not happy with the price

My 3gs had several problems like turned it self off sometimes heated up, backlight went off when i pressed the top of the screen... and envirofone only noticed that therewas a crack at the bottom and took 20 quid of the price

Take it to Apple and say it won't go into silent mode. They will either repair it or give you a new phone. My mate smashed his screen so took it to Apple and said it had a different problem and they replaced it anyway.
