right i bought the car already XE converted so i dont know what shafts they used. the short shaft is in the box fine, but since ive had it the long shaft doesnt fully go in the box, looks like it might even be hitting the diff bar. the other night it popped out and lost all drive, so really want to replace it. what setup should i use? i think its just the CV joint i need to replace. cheers

Can you upload a pic of the shaft in situ? They will either be corsa GSi shafts with cav MK2 inner cv joints, or 2ltr shafts from an astra/cavalier/calibra with different hubs.
It may be a problem with the retaining clip on the shaft of the cv, if its twisted or not sitting right it will snag as you try to push the cv in (instead of tapping in easily and locking into place)
