see now this is what pisses me off; why was the best quote I could get £790 on the Jag which is worth 10% of yours and isn't exactly a desirable or performance car. I'm 27, no points and one no fault claim - yet I couldn't insure it for any less and that was with hours of phoning around getting quotes

my excess is high too; £200 + £250 Voluntary!
What am I doing wrong, until this year, i always got good quotes, I have a total of 10years NCD and only the one none fault claim where someone ran into my car when it was parked on the drive!
I even had a quote TP only on a 1.2 Corsa worth £50!!! And the quote was £350.
I live in a zero rated crime area too

have you tried adding a parent as a named driver?
I have my mum or dad down as a named driver (I'm still main driver and policy holder) and it reduces my policy a lot.
