Same here just wondered whether it was a good thing to advertise on or not.

Got some good responses using Google AdWords for my company's advertising online but thought I might be missing out on something with FB.

VERY occasionally, but only if it was something I was already interested in (ie. a big brand).

Would imagine adwords would have a much better conversion rate.

Hmmm so probably not worth advertising on then?

I might give it a shot if I come across any free vouchers for it, not too keen on chucking cash at it when I can't find out much in the way of proven stats etc.

We used them back in the day (before they opened it up to everyone) to advertise a uni ski trip. Was very effective and cost effective as we could direct the adverts to our demographic very accurately.

Nope. I didnt, i also couldnt get adwords to pay, as the items i sell are so low value.

At the time, i couldnt afford to keep at it for longer. I was suprised how many visitors i got though.
