Mines on 17's. Used to have it lowered 30mm. Wasn't low enough. So got it lowered 40mm. 18's would look class but you would need a 40mm drop in my opinion.

imo id stick with 17's and get a 30 mm drop, no arch work required and will look great. Stick on 18's and a 30mm drop is not enough. I had 17's on 30mm drop and still looked great.

munch, if ur tyres are 195s then u should be able to get away with it. But with a low offset like et40 i aint sure dude.
To get a rough idea, on the back arches, try to get some mates to sit on the boot lip to lower the car, and see how far off the edge of the tyre is from the edge of the arch.
Not precise i know but should give a rough idea of whether or not it'll rub.

check my garage for more pics. I think a little bit lower would look spot on around -40mm or -45mm to avoid scrubbage

Springs are fine for small lowering amount but Shocks are a must for really low rides

Go for springs and dampers. I've got Koni's on mine. 40mm looks really low on my Corsa C. Wish I had a pic to show you lot.
