Going down the local Honda garage tonight as im after a new car for the end of the year (got a bit of a money comming my way) - me dads gonna lend me the money for a deposit on a S2000 and then pay it off over 4 years, but i cant get the insurance from anywhere

Its group 20 so im pretty stuck as im 19, need some help people

where can i get insured on this car.

somehow i think youre either gonna be raped for insurance or just not get it. come on, an s2000 at 19 is taking the piss a bit insurance wise

yes but its what it IS that counts. They think you are likely to wrap it round a lamp-post and extremely high risk of crashing so your premium will be upwards of £5k i expect. And you would be a mug to pay that much. Just wait until you are older and more experienced,.

ill have 3 years NCB in october and ive got a mate with a civic type R and hes only paying £1600 Fully comp and hes 20, so we will have to wait and see.

liverpool victoria wont quote under 21's for a car with standard engine bigger than a 1.6

tesco excess are stupidly high (read your cover VERY VERY well) but if you crash you just wont get about 1k back instead of paying all the excesses :O

hic will quote you fully comp, looking ta over 2k though

adrian flux is your best bet and there apr is stupidly high.

youll be better waiting till your 21 for such a car... or going under parents name.

tesco seemto quote on just about anything - i have had quotes on a lotus and a skyline and a gti-r so if u just need a quote ave a look at tesco and none ofmy quotes were over 2k so i dunno what cybermonkeys crie zone is where he lives but i cant see them being that far off the mark - anyway its easy to find out for the sake of 5 mins on the net

its 25 now also dave as i am 21 and it made fook all difference to me - i wish it did but it didnt oh well, looks like i am resigned to low power motoring for at least another year

i was looking for insurance for a new car, an astra gsi and im 19 with 2yrs ncb. 20 in october too. best i could get was £1300 tpft - so i dont know if im gonna bother till im over 20.
