Had my 14 sport on pistonheads and agreed too meet a boy in helmsdale, (40 miles away) took the car down and he wanted me too take 300 quid off the price we agreed, so i said no and drove home. and now i just want to keep it, i fell in love with it again after 80miles off madness. iv had 4 corsa b's now and i even had a cavalier sri but sold it and went back too the corsa sport. theres really nothing as fun, cheap or well built for the the same price... and me and all my mates think of them as the nova of out genaration. fuck the nova. corsa b yeah yeah!
mines only got 59k on it and i have a x16xe waitin for me and a boy 20miles away has a c16xe head that i think ill buy

Why bother buying the C16XE head? Just spend the money on an inlet.

I thought i was by with Corsa's after selling the XE i built.
Bought a BMW in an attempt to be 'grown up' (I'm 22, nearly 23)
Didnt like it so swapped for a 172 which i hated and ended up with a Corsa GSI again
Although i'm driving a VTS on a daily basis which is great fun i think i'll always have a lot of love for Corsa's.

I've had alsorts of nice cars in my time, and I do love a Corsa B. I'm on my 4th at the moment. 1.5TD, and a throttle bodied XE'd SXI. Even the TD is great fun and it runs on alsorts
The C16XE head is the best flowing head so SBD say.

Judging by your list of cars owned, I don't think you'd know really tbh.

not really, please bare in mind i am goin buy corsa b years not modern day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ford ka, youll look more gay than a corsa pmsl they are a seriously rubbish car mrs had one of these one word crap!!
fiesta, pretty good handling but engines are lifeless even hot models dont argue either my mrs has owned a zetec-s too and i laughed first time i drove it with silly plastic door cards and dull long gearbox what good is handling if the car feels lifeless?
saxo, i actually laughed at my mates furio when he opened the boot and they have not even lacquered the insides of the paint and we ripped the inside apart in 3 mins with nothing but a bread knife
106 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
clio, again good handling but lets be honest poorly built and french ^^^^^^
do not mistake this for me saying corsa is perfect because it surely is'nt but fact remains it probably is the best built... the easiest to work on as easy as any to modify and stills looks good with age

Ive owned 6 Corsa's, 1 Clio and a 106, Clio and 106 have been better that all the Corsa's. Handle better, better interiors, much more fun, cheap parts, reliable.

Tbh's, it's horses for courses. My Saxo VTR was far better handling than any Corsa I've had, but it did have a few niggles. My XSi 16v was by far the most fun car I've owned, and that was actually really reliable. My Civic iVT was just quicker than an XE I've had a go with, but would smash them now. That's not to say I hated my Corsa's, if I did, I wouldn't have had 5! But there are far better cars for the money.
