Help please anyone!
I have just completed some work under the bonnet of my corsa which includes a new clutch kit,new water pump,new cambelt and tensioner and new aux belt and tensioner.today i fired her up for the first time since all the works and she did'nt run to good at first but seemed to clear after about 30 seconds and then the eml came on and stayed on?i disconnected the battery for a little while then reconnected and fired her up again,it started ok this time but eml still on.does anybody know why eml is on please?

Do a paperclip test and see what fault codes it gives. Or you can buy a fault code reader yourself or take it to a garage and get them to read them

Thanks Eddx14xe will give the paper clip test a go tomorrow and see what it throws up(not done it before though so hey ho!)

There is a website that you can use to see what the code means when you have done it. If no one see's this thread and posts it in here then ask in general chat. Or you could see if google can find what the code means
