Seeing how feasible it is to integrate local Ebay listings but it appears to need full postcodes which I don't currently store.

Think the speed issue might be Ebay as it's a complicated search.

You got a 'Change location' option on that page?

Yeah it needs the full code to link to it.

If you can change it once you're in, I could do with knowing how many items you see as well.

Yeah it lets me change it from the 1st link. It brings up 7,747 items.

Quick answer is that if we refer Ebay sales, CS gets income. I'll debate everything at every point - but the membership of CS en mass have buying power and my feelings are that it's a good idea to at least explore that.

This type of things mitigates the reduction in prem numbers and also means people who are prem have not yet seen a price increase since it was introduced.
