had these morrettes on my last corsa but they were a bit fucked!

so spent some time and money refurbing them and sorting out a few issues

rust lamps
1 side had 2 lamps the other had 1
snapped brackets
no indicators

so sanded them down, and plastic welded the brackets, bought new outer lamps, bought some indicators, painted them, fitted new parts and added new inner grills

no pictures in the daylight yet as i only finished them at 10pm but heres a quick pic of my indicators going

glad i spent the money on the ring light!

Looks well how do you plastic weld? I'm going to have to do a bit soon!

get a bit of plastic the same size as the gap, heat up all edges with soldering iron. push together and hope it sticks.

then fill in around the contact edges with something like a polythene bag

small strips melted with the soldering iron

Just done alot of plastic welding on my morettes yesterday good as new just need to get a lick of paint on them now


How have you done the indicators u2u me buddy when you get chance

I really need to get plastic welding my morettes after that dosey bitch hit me :@ both clips broken on one side! light keeps on raising over bumps ever so slightly
