Anyone recommend the cheapest place to get a full Thule Aero Roof Bar system?

Best deal I could find was on skidrive so I've ordered them from there. This is when a load of people come out the wood work after the event saying a load of cheaper places but I did leave it a few hours for them to have their say
I would be doing well to get them 2nd hand as you have to have an additional foot support for the Mini. Bet this is going to be a nightmare to fit the first time when I have to put it all together

Out of interest did you try a Mini dealership?
I know when I was at Vauxhall we were selling the Thule roof bars significantly cheaper than Halfords etc

No, they have their own official Mini roof bars that they sell (designed by Thule and badged Mini) and they aren't what I'm after. They require the roof trim to be cut and they don't go on and off easily, you are supposed to leave them on the car and I want to be taking them on and off as when I need them.
I have the official Mini roof bars already as the dealer gave me them for free as compensation for a load of hassle they caused me. Going to sell them.

Even the Thule ones are a pain in the ass to put on and take off.

Bit late but the cheapest I could find the actual bars was also Skydrive, then I got the foot pack and other bits and pieces from eBay

Nice - got that weird middle securing bit on it.
I was pleasantly surprised to find there is proper fixing points under the rubber seal on my Fiesta. You take the rubber off and replace with other ones in bits.

Yeah the middle and front feet are the ones that are securing it all to the roof. The back feet are just sat on the roof and the bar running between that and the middle feet pulls it down on to the car when you tighten the middle and front feet if that makes sense.
Be so much easier if all cars came with those built in roof bar mounting points like on the Corsa B.

Yeah I have a road bike, a hardtail mountain bike and a full suspension mountain bike It's not that high, it's just a Mini isn't very big! Don't ride my road bike that much, road riding is a bit gay really.
No Jambo I stay at the edge of the road as I do not have a death wish

You probably wouldn't have enough power to overtake me TBH. Or if you did manage to get enough speed up one of your wheel bearings would fail.

I'd open my door so you went flying then I would retrieve your mashed up scalp with ginger hair and blood mixed in and wear it on my head like a Jewish skull cap
