It'll do I suppose... Bet it's riddled with problems though, my 59 plate Alfa is far from 'problem free'

You continue to buy cars that are clearly shit and will cost a fortune, come back to prove it and now you've bought a car that's renowned for problems for cheap, which will be a shitter even taking into account what it cost.

Probably.

Jesus Wept! Can we have some full stops and sentences in there please?

You rebuilt the engine because the engine bay was a mess? You could have just cleaned it.

What protocol did you follow to run the engine in?

Did you have any kind of base/low boost map setup or did you just bolt all those new bits on plus a new turbo and drive around on the standard map?

Did you drive off boost or was this to tricky?

Your history of events does not add up, you are missing key information here.

I suspect you got bored during those 600 miles and decided to 'give it some' and as you were driving around on a standard map you destroyed it.

you dont need a map to run the car on a vxr turbo, my intention was to remap the car when the engine was run in and i had fitted a new exhaust, the car was never run above 4k revs and rarely above 3k! i wouldnt spent 2k on parts and an engine rebuild to then go out and rev the fuck out of the engine and destroy all the work that was put into it!

Did they say why the turbo is not covered for warranty? Sounds proper dodgy.

I would guess you have some legal rights regardless of whether they choose to try and shirk it.

They have to be fit for purpose. Sale of Goods Act, I'll check it out in a bit if you can't find it.
