A good few years ago there was the largest privately ownd snap-on collection of tools in the world for sale, starting bid was $50k odds

I'm not being funny but nobody buys snap on tools unless you're a mechanic etc. And when you do spen thousands on them, you're going to make use of them, not leave them in a toolbox.

50% of that stuff was not bought legit

you would spend more time trying to find the tool than you would doing the job

why so many adjustable spanners when you have every size spanner you would need

About £40 same as anything else that sell's for more than £400. (+ pp fees)

Even at £23k someone with a lot of time on their hand will make a killing selling it all on individually.

Exactly!! I have snap on boxes at home here and including them and tools I have sepnt around £3500 and I get by fine on the cars I work on!!
