This is what I was saying about the second hand car Market.
It's going to get even more crazy IMO. I'm sure Byron will correct me, but more people buying cars on decent cheap finance deals that Gand them back after 2/3/4 years and trade up there will be a surplus, second hand cars will be less attractive than a new one that's more fuel efficient so prices will continue to drop.
Imo

Apparently Bruntingthorpe is packed to the brim with cars that have sad 'repossession' stickers on them.

They probably sell them on to dealers who sell them on as £35k V8 Vantages.
Car manufacturers are aware of the value of second hand cars, especially if they can marked them as 'approved'. So much so that they 'manufacture' second hand cars, hence if you want an Audi or a BMW at a nice price they always manage to find you and ex-demo one somehow. It's either that or you get an ex-lease which has had stringent servicing and mileage limitations put on it.

Wonder what legality there is behind the ex-demo title. My parents always used to buy ex demos

Some nice cars there for good money. Would love to own the Nissan GT-R in the future.
Brunters having cars with 'repossesion' stickers on them? Thurleigh has got some 11 plate cars that are some apparent write-offs. Some you can understand, as they've been rolled. But there's an 11 plate BMW X5, and all that's wrong is the rear bumper is in half.
