Hi guys,

Right after a weekend of going up the strip at pod it's time for new tyres, normally i go for Toyo T1R's but after ordering some found out they didnt have them in stock, nowhere seems to have them in stock or they've rocketed in price, so i need a set of 4 tyres, 195/45/15's good grip in dry and wet, good durability and good value for money, What ya got?

all depends on your budget mate? you get what you pay for allthough i'm in the same boat as you (even the same tyre size). stick with trusted makers.

That would be my recommendation to, the rain sports are awesome in the wet and dry, cant remember how long they last but they were awesome and they're not too pricey. Best wet tyre i had were continetals but there silly money. Yoky s-drives are decent aswell but not as good as the rain sports in the wet!

im on my second load of four. swear by them. takes ages to wear down, look decent and for the price they do actually hold the road a little better than you'd expect. cracking in the snow too...

i drove from Scarborough to Durham in the thick of the snow in my old b with a brand new set of sunnys all round and laughed at all the 4x4's sat at the side of the road, completely gave up

I would never buy budgets, they are awful and cheap for a reason. Why skimp on the one thing that keeps your car in contact with the road?!

This! it's all well and good putting big brakes on but if your tyres let go the moment you even think about the brake pedal then whats the point
