I remember getting one a few years back.
I applied for it, or called the HMRC, I can;t really remember
Has anyone done it lately? I need to refresh my memory.
Cheers

If you are an employee there is a form you fill in to claim back for travelling expenses etc.
I've just filed my first self employed tax return, turns out Mr Tax Man owes me £3k

Yeah, although I think this is sometimes built into your tax code, when I was an employed joiner there used to be something on my notice of coding about flat rate job expenses.

They automatically gave me a rebate as paid too much one year (2005 or something) so refunded me a good few hundred.
But theyve changed my tax code now as i owe them from 2003 why didnt they just net the two off the silly cunts.
