Been asked by my grandad to sell his astra as he wants another manual car!
Its an 07 plate 1.6 Design, with easy tronice gearbox; demo + him as owner, FVSH, immaculate with high spec and only 8,400 miles!! Hard to put a price on something with such low milage!!

Here are a few pics which i have taken to advertise it

Any idea's of what its worth

I retract my previous statement, i'd try £6500 and be prepared to be knocked down a little

Are you a motor trader? Serious question , as you always value cars differently to everyone else.

I was thinking between £6.5 and £7K if lucky.

I dont think he will want to remove the tow bar as if it doesnt sell then he will keep it; also i think he payed about £400 for it fitted!!

Trade value is around £4.5k according to Glasses via Vauxhalls site, so add £1.5k-£2k on top of that for a private sale and be prepared to be haggled a bit.

Low miles but it is only a 1.6 without any exterior packs etc.
The 1.9 cdtis go for 6 - 10k. Really cant see this going for any more tbh but thats my oponion.

Thats easy worth over 7k imo, but i think you mite struggle a bit as markets dead and alot of 2007's aren't going to have ridiculous miles on them unless they been used for business etc..
i think a lot of buyers will go for couple more k on the clock, the same reg, for less money. just my opinion.

how are you going to advertise...?

I agree more the plus £7k side. Car looks immaculate, only downside I can see is the sticker in the rear window.

6k private sale, Astras are a good seller but those semi auto boxes are a bad seller from my experiance.
The car could go straight away or you could have it for a long while.

£7k

Value of good private sale adding on £500 for miles? It's just a boggo Astra (no offence) you won't be attracting collectors. Just be easier to sell.

5K tops.. If you want to sell.

http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/used-prices/Valuation.aspx?deriv=35809&plate=84#amount=5000&years=3

There are dealers selling similar cars with 30K for 5-6k with warranty......

buy a new car, don't drive it, then sell it.

best way to throw money down the drain
