Can get mounts cheap enough and the engines are also cheap.

Look newer than the XE's and still plenty of poke to them

Omega, Vectra, Calibra, Astra Sport

Dont get from omega though as you will need another box to use in a corsa

Box isnt an issue but ideally you will need to swap the sump out and the cooling system will be a bit of an arse.

Mounts shouldn't be too much of a problem, so long as I can use a small block box I should be able to keep the same shafts etc? Currently a 1 litre so F10 or something haha only needs to last a few laps.

Since when??

F28's are cable operated.

Can buy kits to make them hydraulic, but they are about 350quid.

Saying that though, an x20xev with throttle bodies would be decent enough, especially with a 2.2 omega bottom end.

I'd want to do a Y22SE though, all alloy then...
