I loved tiling both my ensuite and main bathroom - very rewarding - just make sure you invest in a circular tile cutter

as long as the surface your tiling on is flat, tiling is piss easy. prep is 80% of tiling.

I've just finished doing mine. Fitted new bath/sink/toilet plus fully tiled all 4 walls. Tiling itself isnt that hard, using the X pieces helps line all the tiles up. I paid about £170 for 19m squared and around £130 in adhesive and grout.

as mentioned, get yourself a tile saw, stay away from the manual ones.

Wickes is good and cheap for tiles, i'd use topps tiles for grout/edging/adhesive.

before;

after;

I retained the old taps/mixer shower as I'd only just bought them. The floor is cushion flooring(comfortz alhambra), warmer than tiles n a lot quicker to fit.

I previously had a curtain but prefer the look of a screen. Only problem is that it aint long enough, water gets onto the floor.
